College of Islamic Sciences Organizes Student Seminar on “English Literature and Islamic Studies: A Dialogue of Texts”
The College of Islamic Sciences organized a student-focused seminar titled “English Literature and Islamic Studies: A Dialogue of Texts”, delivered by Lecturer Assist. Mustafa Riyadh Al-Khafaji, with the participation of several students from the College.
The seminar explored the relationship between English literature and Islamic studies, focusing on how to read literary and intellectual texts in a way that highlights points of convergence and dialogue between different cultures. The lecturer also presented practical examples of literary text analysis to enhance critical understanding and deepen knowledge from both literary and religious perspectives.
The seminar witnessed active student engagement, with participants asking questions and contributing to discussions that enriched the dialogue and provided an opportunity to develop critical thinking and broaden cultural horizons.
