The College of Nursing at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) announced the signing of an academic cooperation agreement with the College of Nursing at Cairo University. The agreement was concluded via videoconference as part of efforts to strengthen academic and research partnerships between the two institutions.
The agreement seeks to establish joint programmes in the field of nursing, along with exchange visits for students and faculty members aimed at training and professional development, thereby enhancing the quality of practical and clinical education. It also provides for the formation of joint research teams to pursue rigorous scientific projects, in addition to preparations for convening an international scientific conference in the near future to explore the prospects of advancing education and research in nursing.
This initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (SDG4: Quality Education), which emphasises inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. It also supports Goal 3 (SDG3: Good Health and Well-Being) by fostering the development of nursing professionals capable of improving healthcare services and Goal 17 (SDG17: Partnerships for the Goals) through the promotion of international academic cooperation.
Through this collaboration, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa reaffirms its commitment to advancing high-quality academic education and expanding its engagement with Arab and international universities, consolidating its role as a leading educational institution dedicated to preparing qualified professionals and contributing to the advancement of healthcare and education in Iraq.
