The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, received a delegation from the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development, headed by Mr. Mohammed Al-Moussawi, who expressed his gratitude to the university’s leadership for its active participation in the syndicate’s conference held under the patronage of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), praising the speech delivered by the university on behalf of the Shrine at the event.
The delegation was accompanied by the Director of the Directorate of Labour and Social Affairs in Karbala, and discussions focused on prospects for joint cooperation through launching initiatives and training programmes aimed at developing human capacities and enhancing youth skills, thereby serving various segments of the Karbala community.
These efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by supporting non-formal education and training workshops that promote lifelong learning opportunities; Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by providing professional development programmes that prepare individuals to effectively enter the labour market; and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, by ensuring inclusive training and capacity-building opportunities for all segments of society without discrimination.
